I'm really looking forward to Mayhem festival coming to town around September. It's mainly black metal playing but my favorite band is headlining. SLAYER!!! Indeed, i still remember the first time i head a their song. I was driving through Houston traffic, which is always terrible. and i was making good time to my class at the art institute. with the fast pace driving (not wreckless of course)I had playing a random CD with heavy metal in it. Not knowing what was playing I remember the drums.the beginning of Raining blood. then the guitars rip. I was saying in my head " ohhh shit that was bad ass!" then i just looked them up, bought a CD, which was GOD HATES US ALL...great title. And i cranked that shit up...good times.


They were really the reason i got in to thrash and harder metal.
